Individual 

For Local Committee 

• After the local congress, the Local Committee will open the form for QB and general members.
• Interested Candidates need to fill up the form for the given posts according to their interests.
• LCs have their process for selecting QBS and general members.

For National’s QB: 

• After the National Congress, the National Committee will open a form for QB recruitment.
• Individuals must have worked in the Local Committee as VP, QB, or general member to serve the national committee as QBs.. 
• National EBs select their respective QBs based on interviews and what QBs have submitted in a form.

Form an LC

1. Establishing a Permanent Local Committee:

• The Executive Board of the National Committee ensures the application form for Permanent Local Committee status is easily accessible to Candidate Local Committees.

• The completed application form must be submitted to the National Control Board at least 15 days before the National Congress.

• The National Control Board will present the application in the General Assembly during the National Congress, where it must be approved by a 2/3rd majority of the voting members.

2. Forming a Candidate Local Committee:

• Interested groups of students can request the application form from the National Committee.

• The completed form must be submitted by the proposed Local Director of the committee to the Control Board (CB) of IAAS Nepal.

3. Admission of a New Permanent Local Committee:

• The status of a new Permanent Local Committee must receive 2/3rd majority approval from the General Assembly during the National Congress.

4. Admission of a New Candidate Local Committee:

• The interested group must apply to the Vice President (VP) of External Relations.

• The VP of External Relations will then convene a meeting of the National Committee to discuss the proposal.

• Admission is granted upon receiving a 2/3rd majority vote from the National Committee members present at the meeting.
