APDM stands for the Asia-Pacific Directors Meeting. It is the regional General Assembly of IAAS - the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences. It brings together National Directors and representatives from countries across the Asia-Pacific region. A space where students, young professionals, and future leaders connect beyond borders. At APDM, ideas are shared…experiences are exchanged…and collaborations are built. Regional activities are reviewed, future plans are designed, and leadership is strengthened

The National Youth Conference 2025 stands as a dynamic three-day event uniting young minds from across the nation under the theme “Youth for Climate-Resilient Future: Policy, Advocacy and Innovation.” This conference aims to empower youth to take active roles in shaping sustainable agricultural and environmental futures through meaningful dialogue, practical learning, and innovation.

Hosted collaboratively by IAAS Nepal Local Committees ERC, Gauradaha, and GPCAR in Koshi Province, the event will gather 50+ passionate participants from diverse agricultural institutions, along with experts, policymakers, and representatives from partner organizations.
The National Youth Conference 2025 will feature a range of interactive and impactful sessions including:
-Panel Discussions with experts and youth leaders on climate policy, agri-innovation, and sustainable practices.
-Workshops and Training Sessions focused on skill development and advocacy strategies.
-Field Visits to showcase practical climate-resilient agricultural practices.
-Project Demonstrations highlighting innovative student-led ideas and sustainable solutions.

IAAS national congress is a premier annual event gathering the esteemed local committees from all across the nation. This year National Congress 2025 will bring together about 40 young people to engage physically with many more online attendees. Sindhuli will be the collaboration center for the 3 days long national event which brings a series of trainings led by the training committee. Parallelly, policy paper will be written to navigate the path ahead. This esteemed event offers a platform for the wide ranged sharing of knowledge regarding agriculture and related science and invaluable networking opportunities with training. workshops, report presentation and general assembly. Beyond formal proceedings, National Congress 2025 also facilitates informal sessions allowing attendees to forge meaningful connections Expected outreach from this Mega Event.
