National Farmer Survey Campaign

LOCATION

Nationwide (All IAAS Nepal Local Committees)

A nationwide farmer survey conducted using a standardized questionnaire to collect information on demographics, farm status, income sources, agricultural constraints, possible solutions, future expectations, and the role of IAAS Nepal in supporting farming communities. The campaign concludes with report submission from all participating Local Committees.

OBJECTIVES

To assess the socio-economic status, farming practices, and challenges faced by farmers.
To identify farmers' needs and expectations to support evidence-based agricultural interventions.

IMPACT

Generated a comprehensive database on farmers' conditions and agricultural challenges.
Strengthened the connection between IAAS Nepal students and farming communities.
Provided evidence to guide future extension programs, campaigns, and policy advocacy.
Enhanced research, survey, and data analysis skills among IAAS members.
